As you are planning your Model Train Layout or even if you recently started constructing one I reccomend you take a look at the perfect guide. Model Trains For Beginers They have a whole support system for Beginners and those that are Novices to the hobby. Unless you have an Old Timer that has been in the hobby for 60 years to take you under his wing (and he may not be as up to date with his info as you would like)....this guide is the best way to learn the inside info.
